Psilocybe azurescens

According to Paul Stamets, author of Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World the Psilocybe azurescens is the most potent of the tryptamine-bearing mushrooms, containing up to 1.8% psilocybin, 0.5% psilocin, and 0.4% baeocystin by dry weight, averaging to about 1.1% psilocybin and 0.15% psilocin.

Uso
Unlike most mushrooms that are grown indoors, this mushroom is excellent for outdoor cultivation. It grows very well on woodchips. In the northwestern parts of Europe spring is the best time to start cultivating outdoors. In southern Europe, with a warmer climate, the best time to start cultivating is from September to December.
The spores in this syringe are used to inoculate rye first. When the rye is colonized, it can be used to prepare wood chip spawn, which is then mixed with fresh woodchips in a garden bed. Since cultivating this mushroom is more complicated than other species, the Psilocybe azurescens is more suitable for experienced growers. Instructions on how to grow this mushroom can be found on MushMush and Mushplanet. Once you've got the mycelium growing in the garden bed, it's relatively easy to maintain it however, and you can harvest these very potent mushrooms year after year.
