Hierba de Calea dream

La hierba Calea dream también es conocida como zacate de perro (dog grass) o Calea zacatechichi (zacate amargo). El arbusto pertenece a la familia de los girasoles y crece en las regiones montañosas de México y en ciertas partes de Costa Rica. Tiene cerca de 1,5 metros de altura, muchas ramas con hojas oviformes y opuestas (3-5 cm de largo y 2-4 cm de ancho).
Es usada por los índios Chontal, de México, para obtener mensajes divinos durante los sueños y en la medicina tradicional mexicana como aperitivo y para mejorar el metabolismo. Los índios le llaman "hoja de dios". Es apreciada por su capacidad de aclarar los sentidos, inducir visiones y sueños y como planta curativa en general. Los chamanes usan la hierba para recibir mensajes divinos en sus sueños. Los mexicanos en general la usan para abrir el apetito y como suplemento que ayuda, entre otras, la digestión.

Efectos

La calea tiene un efecto relajante y tranquilizador. El efecto es sutil y puede ser descrito como soñador. Los Índios Mexicanos consideran la calea un alucinógeno, pero todavía no se ha conseguido isolar cualquier alcaloide alucinógeno de esta hierba.

Uso

Las hojas secas pulverizadas de la hierba calea dream pueden ser bebidas como té. El sabor es muy amargo.

“I actually bought some of this off another site as it was closer to home, but from my experience, yes the tea is completely fowl, worst thing i've ever tasted, smoking it is much more pleasant.

From smoking i have managed astral projection twice, although i found the best method is to wake up early in the morning, smoke it, then go back to sleep (if you can handle that it will be worth it im sure)

Or you can put it into pills and consume it that way, which is pleasant, but i haven't tried it in the early morning yet to see what the results are like.”
