Paquete de cultivo San Pedro

Contiene todo lo que necesitas para cultivar tu propio cacto san pedro:

• 25 semillas de cacto san pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi)
• tierra de cacto
• arena
• piedrecitas
• perlite
• caja y tapa
• manual detallado

Uso

Haz 10 agujeros pequeños en la base de la caja. Llena la caja, primero con las piedras y después con una mezcla de arena y tierra.

Pon las semillas en la tierra y aprétalas cuidadosamente con ayuda de un lápiz, pero no muy hundo. Tienes que verlas. Pulveriza con un spray hasta que la tierra está húmeda y cierra la tapa de la caja.

Pon la caja en un lugar caliente, por ejemplo encima de la calefacción o la estufa.

Humedad
Depués una o dos semanas las semillas germinarán. Ten cuidado de que la tierra se queda húmeda durante estas semanas. Después de mas o menos 8 semanas es tiempo para hacer agujeros en la tapa. Después otro dos semanas haz algunos agujeros más para que los pequeños cactos puedan acostumbrarse lentamente al aire seco. Dos semanas después es tiempo de abrirla tapa. Mantiene la tierra húmeda durante dos meses. Depués estos dos meses debes dar cada vez menos agua a los cactos. Ten cuidado de que la tierra seca totalmente antes de que vuelves a regar.

Iluminación
Durante la germinación y el crecimiento inicial de los minicactos aconsejamos usar iluminación artificial. Sólo más tarde tienes que ponerlos en luz solar (indirectamente).

“I planted the seeds 10.11.2005 and now 23.01.2008 I have 11 fine young cacti. Don't remember if the kit has changed since then, but at least the instructions were different. I don't remember heating the soil... not sure did I even have perlite. But it worked great anyway. Though due to the moisture, a slimy alga like thing grew on the soil after just few weeks, but my supercacti woudn't be beaten by something like that. After I removed the lid, the slimegrass soon hardened up and I had to remove it and replant the cacti.
The sizes of the cacti differ a lot, but the bigger ones are around 13cm(could probably be bigger if is wasn't for my bad parenting). But since I placed them under a "proper" lightning of 3 ESL-lamps and started giving them cactus nutrients, they have tripled their size, if not more. And that was just 5 months ago. The growth is looking great right now. I even named my babies since they are all so different.”
