Mimosa hostilis (jurema preta)

Mimosa hostilis, también conocida como jurema preta, es una planta natural de Brasil. El alcalóide activo en la mimosa es el N,N-DMT, que es similar al LSD, pero más intenso. Normalmente cuando ingerido el DMT no tiene cualquier efecto, pero combinando mimosa hostilis con un inhibidor de MAO como el peganum harmala (arrua siriana) o el banisteriopsis caapi, puedes preparar ayahuasca, la poción mágica que permite experiencias intensas.

Efectos

Primero sentirás algunas náuseas. Si tienes que vomitar, hazlo. No debes combatir el vómito. Después de 45 a 60 minutos experimentarás un éxtasis religioso y las primeras visiones comenzarán. Colores intensas, flores, fuegos artificiales y formaciones de mandalas. Dependiendo de la cantidad ingerida, encontrarás mundos salvajes habitados por animales exóticos, antepasados, dioses y monstruos. Serás confrontado con tus propios miedos y frustraciones. Es importante que no entres en pánico ni intentes escaparlos, pero que aprendas a controlarlos dejándote envolver por ellos.

Uso

Deja 3 a 5 gramos de semillas de peganum harmala en agua caliente. Haz lo mismo con 9 gramos de mimosa hostilis y mézclalos con algo de zumo de limón o lima. Bebe el extracto de peganum harmala, y después de 15 minutos bebe la mezcla de mimosa hostilis.

La raíz del árbol de mimosa también es usada como remedio para problemas de piel y heridas como quemaduras, y es usada comercialmente en productos para el rejuvenecimiento de la piel y del cabello. Estudios indican que en efecto posea calidades útiles. La raíz es rica en taninos, saponinas, alcaloides, lípidos, fitosteroles, glicosídeos, xilosa, ramnosa, arabinosa y lupeol.

“I give five stars because this is one of the most potent psychedelics there is. First time I tried with P.Harmala. It was surprisingly short lasting, but these short moments were the most beutiful in my life. I have been tripping on shrooms a lot and with some other psyhceledics little bit but this was something better.
Next time I made Mimosa hostilis with Psychotria viridis, if I remember right. This on the other hand was the strongest and most terrifying trip I have ever had. Actually I have never in my life experienced anything so horrible. I lost totally the connection to reality, saw myself dying, trembeld so hard that two people had to do their best to hold me still. It was like some devil inside me controlled my body and thoughts and show me what is it like in Hell. And when it came down I felt like reborn, like I was offered a chance to continue living. Will not do that again, expect maybe consider with some shaman in right environment..
As said before, be very very careful, do not underestimate it. And if it gets worse, give up to it, so it will not be so harsh to you. Tripsitter extremely important.”
