Vermiculite

Vermiculite is puffed rock (Mica), which is very light. The airy structure supplies room inside substrate mixtures for the mycelium to 'breathe'.

“Its better to have big chunks of vermiculite, the substrate needs to be airy. Also the brf will coat the vermiculite alot easier.”
