Da una sensación parecida a la de marihuana, y funciona como un afrodisíaco suave.

Recently I did not use it as much and noticed the old bi-polar feeling returning after going without it for 7 to 10 days so I am again using the tea and very happy, it keeps me of the pills.”

“The following is my review of the herb Damiana. I have used it as an infusion for three weeks and am otherwise an extremely lucid, clear headed and clear blooded person. The herb did affect genetalia and temperament as described in most info on-line. But I have found it also caused depression spells after stopping to use it. These diminished progressively over several weeks.
A friend of mine who has also used the herb told me of a similar reaction and the post by Blackfire seems to further confirm that ths is a common drawback of the herb. Anything that makes you contemplate suicide, even in the least, should be considered dangerous. Use exteme caution!”

“Damiana gets you high, if you've ever tried Salvia , Damiana can access it and make you have visual trips, I've had a few trip's off Damiana, one being aliens & zombie's attacking, I used to take Damiana constantly, used with any other drug it will boost any high, it also lowers your tolerance to alcohol, I've tried quitting Damiana a few times. I found it very difficult , I wasn't able to eat correctly, I became hopelessly depressed, I even contemplated suicide.
I was addicted to smoking Damiana, I'd smoke a fat bowl with a gram joint, (it lasts longer when used out of a joint) Damiana is similar to weed, you stop caring about thing & other's around you, stronger strains of Damiana such as Dragon Fire, or Posh come in flavour's , each flavour has a different high, after 6 months of constant use of Damiana I got into a car accident , I found it really hard to pay attention to the road.
I stopped using Damiana and all other drugs after the car crash. Damiana is cheap and lasts for about 30 minuets-4 hour's depending on your own personal tolerance , some people (like me) need to take a lot of Damiana (for about a week) to actually feel the high, some people can be in the clouds with one hit.”

“Damiana is perfect for when your all out of bud.. its cheap and it gets you that after feeling, like when the weed is wearing off. I think it works best in a water pipe, you have to use it a couple of times to get the effect, like the first time i smoked weed i didn't get high. very relaxing more clear headed high, definatly not as strong as weed and short lasting too...”

This amazing herb is quite difficult to put into words.
My background: I'm not an avid smoker, I've only smoked cannabis every now and then. Due to the ignorant souls in government dealing with the legality of cannabis, I set out to find an herb that I could enjoy without the worry (and the expense). I've been searching for a while, but for whatever on earth reason, hadn't come across this beautiful species until just recently. When beginning to smoke it through a water bong, I didn't think anything was really happening, but after about 10 minutes, it was clear I was feeling... different. I all of a sudden felt like smiling/laughing for no reason, and a mellow wave had washed over me. Before I knew it, I'd been listening to music and doing absolutely nothing for an hour. The person who says it stops all brain activity couldn't be any more spot on!
Due to my only other experiences being with cannabis, this doesn't give you cotton mouth, and it doesn't necessarily make you have that 'droopy' feeling. Instead, it's as if you're perfectly capable of doing anything, but the continuum of brain thoughts diminish. Making an analogy, I could say this is the mellow, happy, younger sister of MaryJane. And... dear gawd... the aphrodisiac effect..... !
Whether you are young and looking to experiment (and thinking outside-the-box from your friends) and want something cheaper that is legal, older and want to stop your never-ending thoughts/worries, in a little funk and want an all-natural remedy, or you are a spiritual seeker looking to meditate, take a ride on the clouds with this wonderful herb, Damiana.
However, PLEASE, let's not make this into another Salvia Divinorum ordeal. Salvia became illegal when it became exploited. Don't exploit Damiana so we can enjoy her for years and generations to come! :-)”
