Whoohoo! This is just incredible! This isn`t only great news because she says this public. Read about a week ago that the gov is "reprogramming" minds of the youth at schools. They hope to educate schoolars, and to program them to never use drugs, and to report everybody using it, in. Nonsense I`d say. She, a famous star, is backing marijuana up. She will reach all those souls, and force them, well, kind of, to think about it. When they`ll read this, they hopefully will research it a bit, and discover marijuana has some ass-kicking good sides as well, instead of all the B.S. the gov is learning them!
America is becoming a good country again - just LEGALIZE!
To read some more info on the absurd war on drugs, and the hemp revolution in the US, just read some articles @ AlterNet:

Hurrah for this beautiful young woman! I smoke this blunt for you, hottie. It is great that well known celebrities are speaking out about the herb. I have the good fortune of living in Amsterdam, but I know most countries are way more uptight about it than here. She is showing heart here, because in the US it's still a crime, which is itself a crime. But many people are raising their voice, even the Gouvernator - of whom it is known he tokes - is openly talking about the benefits of full on legalization.More people need to speak their mind, we shouldn't tolerate such belittlement from the state. If you're old enough to be sent to war, then you don't need Big Brother telling you which fruits of nature you can and can't consume, that's fucking bullshit.
Now for something maybe a bit off-topic, and I may get flamed for this, but that doesn't mean it's not on anyone with a functional set of genetalia's mind, namely that, indeed Ariekanibalie, we all want to fuck Megan Fox even more now. Weed, indeed, is the ultimate sex drug, more so than ecstacy. X makes for a more cuddly type of vibe, whereas the ganja somehow seems to give everything a pornographic glow. Stoned, slow, sloppy sex on a sunday morning is about as close as it comes to a New Jerusalem south of heaven. We need more people fucking stoned, and less uptight, miserable assholes telling the rest of us what's good for us. Kill that noise.
Again, this is of course the main reason why pot is illegal in most countries. Going to the other side of the world and smart bombing innocent civilians is cool, but don't show any nipples on TV, please, that just wouldn't be decent.

Does a celeberty need to say it is ok, before you all are convinced and start believing in something? A lot of work need to be done, starting with ourself!Ariekanibalie - 2009-06-13 09:40:49
@Illuminati, no, fool. But in matters of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll, the state shouldn't have any say as to what one may or may not legally do. This, however, is not a reality in most places. Influential people speaking out may cause more people to speak out as well, ideally leading to a popular legalization of the bud, one day. Like miss Fox says, it's really very normal to smoke weed, it's abnormal to be so uptight and anal as to want to throw people in jail for doing so.ILUMINATI - 2009-06-13 14:15:52
But I was pointing to people which in my eyes are sheeps... The uppest being of conformism, instead of going on the street and start protesting, we sit at our lazy ass in a chair for the television complaining that something should be done... So , when?I have already started to do something about it, do you ? If something realy disturb you, try to meet with people who are also sick of the current situation and try to find a solution!
And I agree with Ariekanibalie , but people shoul also learn the meaning of tradition and respect al over again, because in the Western world, we have lost that... just drinking an partying is no good huture image... also should you be free for desciding for yourself :-)

I really hope that this is a start of a beautiful thing. Americas royalty comming out of the closet and fighting for the right to smoke Cannabis. When famous people start saying the same thing, usually the American public picks it up and follows like sheep. Usually i would find that pathetic, but picking up more favor throughout the world of Cannabis legalization sounds good to me!Ariekanibalie - 2009-06-16 09:31:35
@Illuminati,I would agree that the underlying problem is a suicidal mass conformism going round our world today: a fundamedntal disconnect from ourselves, the earth, etc. which so often is considered "normal."
I personally would rank the legal status of weed relatively low on the list of pressing concerns, as it is readily available in most places anyway.
Also, weed does not make anyone more "in tune" by itself - in the Netherlands, where weed is legal, as sizeable group of people feels drawn to the openly racist, ignorant-and-proud-of-it rhetoric of a politicial called Geert Wilders - yet what I believe it can do is aid people in turning on certain parts of their brain, sometimes for the first time ever, allowing for a less segmented, cynical state of mind to emerge.
It's cool that you're "doing something about it" besides merely complaining in front of the tv. I'd like to hear what that is, then, because I'm sure many, many people are locked in a groove of what-the-fuck-can-anyone-do?
The way I see it, people today know very well what needs to be done if thirty years down the line we don't want to be swimming to work, wear oxygen masks in public, etc. Each one needs to be shocked into radically different behavioural patterns, to reject the undead consumer lifestyle and accept full responsibility for their existence.
The thing is, unless you're of impecable intent and determiniation, you're not going to change anyone. That's how this shit works. For example, I've always been into recycling and doing what I can to minimize the amount of trash produced by my household. This, however has hardly rubbed off on my environment. Most of my friends and family members see this as an endearing trait of mine, so THEY don't have to do it themselves. Just as long as the general ratio of "ecopeople" to "non-ecopeople" is maintained, right? Absurd and perverse as this sounds, this I believe is really how this type of thing goes down. It's like religeon in its primordial setup: one dude acting morally, millions who "believe" in this one dude, but can't help themselves to behave in exactly the opposite way.
The point I'm trying to make here is, if you're REALLY serious about "doing something" you need to take strategy into consideration. I personally don't like taking to the streets so much, as I feel it allows the general public to slip into precisely this false sense of security, like, "oh, there's still people withsocial ideals, protesting global climate change and what not, so now I don't need to worry about it anymore." I should like to change the culture from within. I have taken concrete steps over the last years to fortify myself, to purge all the propaganda and willful ignorance from my soul. That's not to say I am free of ignorance, but enough to go on with my own "Great Work."
You can't buy knowledge, you need to live it.

@ Ariekanibalie This is what I am doing at the moment: http://www.wijzijnsamen.be/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18I have created this concept for making real politics possible.
There are not much members at the moment , but that is because it is just 3 weeks old and we are still editing the site with more articles and multimedia functions, and we have not make public relations yet.
Did you ever read the book of Edmund Husserl, "phenomenology of the human mind"... This book is amazing in explainig the difference between matrial awareness and imaterial awareness, one is if you are looking from the subject world and the other from the object (Kant was here) , and they explain what you have to take in consideration when you are thinking about a for example a table... this because we are an element inside the space, for that reason you can not determine, because the personal influences have already programmed your main thought about a everything...
There does exist an evil, but I call it ignorance
There exist also a biautifull influence of goof, I call that awareness
So you have right , people should become aware from the world they are living in...
DELUMINATI - 2009-06-19 20:43:34
SO PEOPLE PLEASE DOUBT ABOUT YOURSELF, BECAUSE THAT IS THE TRIGGER TO NEW AWARENESSIF YOU THINK YOU DON'T NEED IT, IT IS EASY TO KNOW, ARE YOU BUDHA, ARE YOU IN THE NIRVANA? IF ANSWER IS NO, IT WILL HELP YOU FURTHER!
PS: if someone want to react on my idea on the forum, feel free to do so, you can register and use a few functions that are already availible, if you also want to be active for this goal, please here and just post a message in this topic http://www.wijzijnsamen.be/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=52&p=105#p105

legalise it, everybody who smooke would like it, here in sweden they are fucked up you get 6,8 weeks in remand prison if just have one gram :S sickBUDHA - 2009-06-20 23:20:33
I do not want to make my own policy for the people, I believe that is a work that we should do together, in an envirement that makes that possible...The current aproach is just not working, and we should rethink our stradegy for the future.
But personaly I believe that nature is no crime, so the fauna and flora are part of our existens, so why can anyone think that plants are bad. We all know that a certain group of people uses there influence to control people their behaviour, for making money , instead of thinking about the best thing to do for human mankind, they just think about there own selfish desires.
Personaly I have only one thing to gain if my plan works, that is that I will be able to live with people who doesn't need to need masks during the day, because they want to hide their true self, because the fear that is put into them by the idea that you can own something is just not possible! You can use it for a certain time, but you will never own it, that is just an illusion we give ourself!
Just like we think that we can eat from our money.... and then most say: but you can buy food with that money... yeah, but it still commes from the earth, and the earth is from nobody! So you can say, that we work for paper, and let controling our life by our boss, just to think that we can be free to do what we want, and have the illusion of status with a big car that is to big... that tells indeed alot about a person: that he will take more then he needs, and you can also see that as greed.
You can not explain spiritualism with science, and that is why people are so confused about there existens, because that is what metter, you are here
So if you like the current way of living, good for you, but personaly I see that a lot can be done, for making this planet a better place, and if enough people are willing to do the same... then change is possible in our goverments,
ALWAYS REMEMBER: THE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF THE GOVERMENT, THE GOVERMENT SHOULD BE FEART OF THE PEOPLE , IF THEY START ABUSING THEIR RIGHTS ... WERE SO MANY WARS HAVE BEEN FIGHTED FOR.... FREEDOM? THEY TAKENING IT AWAY, BIT BY BIT... SO ACT WHEN YOU HAVE STILL A CHANCE! BECAUSE IGNORANCE IS THE PROBLEM OF TODAY, BUT YOU CAN CHANGE THAT! START DOUBTING AND BEING SCEPTIC ABOUT YOUR AWERENESS
