Ban on magic shrooms in Holland

Ban on magic shrooms in Holland UPDATE:

The demonstration will take place Saturday the 27th of october in Amsterdam between 13:00 and 15:00 at Dam square, Amsterdam. Visit www.savetheshrooms.com for more details.

--

The Dutch government is about to ban all magic mushrooms. Ministers Klink and Hirsch Ballin decided to schedule them as hard drugs.

The issue has been discussed for a few months, mainly because of its judicial aspects. Six months ago, the Second Chamber did already insist on a total ban.

The Ministry has officially confirmed that the sale and cultivation of magic mushrooms will be punished heavily.

More details, such as the exact date on which the ban will be issued, have not been published yet.

Azarius will try its best to inform you on this topic as accurate as possible. For now, we will continue the sale until further notice.

Long live the EU hegemony, a few stupid idiots who lost a survival of the fittest rat race, and a few fundi Christians. It is time for activism and sales!

Azarius and others should dump their current shrooms with ridiculous low wholesale-prices. Any smart business would do such because else they don't get ROI (investment in the growing of psilos). I'm not the one who decides on this though. I'm glad I bought a growkit earlier this week from Az. I'm gonna enjoy myself for the time being, and a wise tourist who would like to experience a psilo trip again in the Netherlands, legally, would be wise to come Very Soon (tm) because with Ephedra the legal part of the ban went fast, too. A tourist who never experienced a psilo trip would be wise to take caution. We don't want any _more_ stupid cases of natural selection so don't overhaste, come to the Netherlands, _and_ have bad trip!

There is much irony in all of this. If you want to know about what the Christian cults are based upon check out the online movie The Pharmacratic Inquisition available for free at http://www.pharmacratic-inquisition.com an offline version is also sold there. The other part of the irony is that many other hallucinogens are still legal and available in smartshops, heck even in nature, and the fact that people die on alcohol, anti-depressants and what not, too. However, I suppose I'm preaching to the converted. Another ironic aspect of the story is that people who want to use a hallucinogenic will now use a different hallucinogenic such as LSA seeds (which are IMO less safe and less pleasant than psilos). LSA seeds however have the advantage that one can grow them easily anywhere. Once those become illegal, people will use "illegal" drugs but psilos and other drugs are then in the same league as LSD, or even drugs such as cocaine and heroin. Some will even pluck psilos in the wild, but for the irreponsible plucker/user this will be dangerous because of misrecognition of a poisonous/deadly mushroom, and/or because psilos in wild have a different strength. Some poisonous/deadly mushrooms look very much alike several genus of psilos. I live in a small Dutch village with a rich nature and I'd love to grow some shrooms here and there in the woods. Perhaps as a form of (symbolic) activism. I'm sure A. Muscaria and other horseshit would love some new friends!

Warm Regards from the Nether^H^H^H^H^H^HEuropean Union

Why do we have to tolerate this?
Who is telling us that?

You may have thought that the world and mankind's behaviour possibly couldn't get worse - as you see it is getting every day

MUSHROOM JIHAD! - 2007-10-12 17:02:41

-1
Let's quote the Bible...
11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
In God we trust.
Genesis 1 - The Creation-

SO OUR CHRISTIAN GOVERNMENT BANNED A GIFT FROM THEIR OWN GOD!

MUSHROOM JIHAD NOW!!!

MrGone - 2007-10-12 17:27:05

I'm surprised and angry. I would never have imagined that this would happen. If you would ban an organism, ban plants which sting, that hurt people physicaly.
But i'm sure that people will still grow them by themselves. It will continue in the underground like the mushroom lives, it still keeps growing in forests, gardens and in peoples houses. It will be another secret, that people who do not explore won't find.
I'm dumbstruck by the ignorance of the government, they lack experience and knowledge of natures gifts. I imagine them sitting in their offices drinking too much coffee, feeling pretentious about their role as "lawgivers". Sitting and debating about how to keep people calm, dumb and narrowminded, so they can keep working, sleeping, eating, fornicating and crapping. They create an ideal utopia, the ideal for every human who doesn't want to think for him/herself. Stay in your house, live like an insect. MAN... what are they THINKING. I'm on the edge of swearing....FLOP... Keep growing them people.
NOBODY can tell me what i can and can't do.
At the same time that is the burden of being experienced. You notice that choices you made are not always yours. People are puppets until they free their mind. I hope these govermental floppers will try them sometimes and have a spiritual trip. They should take their hand from the bible and experience god firsthand. Realize what matters.
Peace!

ikwilhierweg - 2007-10-12 18:29:46

This is part of a much wider game of manipulation. Psilocybin mushrooms, and any psychotropic drugs, make you think different - and they don't want that.

Don't kid yourselves that this is just the hysterical reaction of reactionary paranoid politicial people who are looking for the next political advantage.

There is something larger, which is why your petition will achieve nothing, just like the UK.

Educate yourself about the banking system and how money works because this is the way power is exercised in our world.

This is not about left or right, communist or facist. Controversy is created on many levels to obscure the truth.

Our weakness as a species is our ability to be lead - we ask too few questions and accept the voice of authority. This served us well in hunter-gatherer groups, but not in recent centuries.

Question everything alone or in groups. There is so much conditioning to be undone. Psilocybin helps in deconditioning process, which is why it has good potential as a therapeutic agent for psychological problems and it can undo knots in the mind.

There are people who herd people like livestock for their own ends and their own wealth. The mushroom is not their friend, but they want you to think this is only about the mushroom. It is not.

You can't even begin to find your way out of a cage, if you don't know that you live in one.

Hello everybody,
Yes you all tell the truth. Politicians don't know about what wonderful experiences one can make if he/she uses the mushroom wisely!
Why do I have to accepts that they take away my rights, my possibility of exploring life and my own mind?
It makes absolutely no sense banning mushrooms but not alcohol.

now it is up to us kepping up the cultivation and garding the secret of a wonderful gift of grand mother nature!

Peace everybody.

Henkjan - 2007-10-14 11:02:53

I sincerelly don't understand why they ban mushrooms, why can't they inform people more about mushrooms, so the accidentrate gets lower.

When someone is drunk, gets in his car and crash into another car, they will give the blame to the persons themselfs. The person who was drunk was so stupid to go drunk behind the steeringwheel. But when someone takes other drugs, like mushrooms the blame always goes out to the mushrooms! Please ban alcohol! (except beer... :P) or unban every drug that is less dangerous to our society!

i guess, alcohol, tabacco (in its "cigar form") and pharmaceuticals are legal, because most of them pleases you and makes you calm down, accepting the system.. not seeing the serious disadvantages.. mushrooms and other psychedelics, also cannabis makes you think about revolutions and such things .. governments of the western world know this ... by banning mushrooms, they dont solve any problems, they just suppress them in agony, like they always do, when no idea on what they are :( "fringe groups" who dont belong to the suitpee marionettes or advance the system are not profitably.. so they must be suppressed .. i guess banning holy mushrooms is against freedom of religion and freedom of our own mental development .. lets see what 2012 brings..

Kosmos - 2007-10-15 17:36:08

Nah, alcohol, tabacco are just legal because the government makes a lot of money with them. They just want to make sure the costs are low and the profit high. That's the reason they try so hard to lower the exposure of non-smokers to sig smoke. That way there will be less healthcare expenses and still lots of taxmoney from the smokers. The shroom ban has be the result of some ridiculous incorrect media attention and a bunch of tourist that don't know how to use the stuff in a responsible way. Well the poll on this site says enough. Most people will look for other ways to get shrooms or just grow them for their own usage.

Well, it´s not that hard to understand why they are pushing this ban on shrooms also in N-land. Just check what "New World Order" wrote on 12th and see it, UNfortunately(..which makes it even more sad news and deepening even more the shit-situation we are in this world right now.. :( :( :( )

ggees - 2007-10-17 11:20:16

I think soon they'll unban... cause the ban is not the solution, people just don't stop eating shrooms and even the tourists. There will be a giagantic shroom underground in Holland. FREE SHROOMS!!!!!

Thats so sad. Mushrooms change my life. I hear everywere the same. Even if it was one life, the eventual future prohibition have no reason. Accidents? People had information. It could have happened with so many legal and illegal psychoactives!

Psilocybin saves lifes, psilocybin is effective against addiction, whatever the meaning of the word addiction.

This is nothing more than eurodemobureaufascist oppression.

Or the incovenience of being with the eyes wide open in a corrupt regime.

RaulDuke - 2007-10-22 17:58:30

I have, with my lawyer, constructed a lawsuit against "Staatsbosbeheer" when this bill has passed. Staatsbosbeheer will probably have the largest collection of hard drugs ever found! This will be very good media for the war on drugs and will also make a good impression on world media. I can already see the headlines: "Dutch Government seizes record ammount of hard drugs". "Staatsbosbeheer board arrested for possesion of drugs and for particpating in a crimininal organisation".

The Netherlands has gone insane...!
