Melatonine is a compound produced by the body itself, especially when darkness falls, and is seen as the key player in the circadian rhythm (which takes the body through its daily cycle of wakefulness and sleep). Although the body produces only very small amounts of melatonine, it cannot do without it. If the body produces too little melatonine, one can supplement it with a melatonine tablet.



According to the latest scientific findings a mere 0,3 mg of melatonine is sufficient to improve sleep. When melatonine is used for longer periods of time, better results are achieved.
People who use melatonine for better sleep claim they don't just fall asleep more easily, but also feel more rested the next day.

Uso
Let 1 to 3 tablets dissolve under the tongue, an hour to half an hour before going to sleep. There are many people who use higher doses of melatonine, for example 10 to 50 tablets at once (1 to 5 mg), which is still considered a moderate dose in most non-European countries.

“Very good product if you have difficulties falling asleep, or to readjust sleeping patterns (jetlags, ...). Not for heavy insomniacs but for me it works perfectly. It doesn't hammer you, it just makes you "tired", like after a very long wake. Sleep will come more easily at that moment.
Just be sure to know how this hormone works : it has been documented (and from my experience it works) that with melatonin more is less. Meaning the more you take the less the effects.
For me the effects are present between 0,3 and 0,5 mg (3 to 5 pills). Just be sure to let these pills dissolve under the tongue, before going to bed. 30 min later you will feel a natural tiredness. Just try to sleep at that moment, not later (do not read, watch tv, ...)
Melatonin will barely help you fall asleep if you don't follow some simple and healthy rules regarding sleep : no alcohol, no drugs, no coffee. But it can become handy to help manage the side effects on sleep when trying to quit smoking (cigarettes or weed).
Also it seems to make dreams "differents". I don't know how to explain it. Just more vivid.”
